What matters in a project
- Plannable integration: protocol, data formats and API can be checked in advance
- Commissioning with the visible state of every tracker
- Handover to owner and O&M with accounts and alarm contacts
- For Agri-PV: evidence that farming works during operation
What Feldmelder does here
- The protocol between box and portal (TTP v1) is openly documented, with JSON schemas to validate every message.
- REST API with tokens and scopes (read only or acknowledge alarms) and CSV export of the measurements.
- The portal reports deviations from the target angle, trackers that went offline, motor and drive-sync faults, wind sensor faults and unacknowledged commands.
- If nobody acknowledges an alarm, the portal escalates to the next contact; maintenance windows mute non-critical messages.
- Read-only accounts and share links for a single plant – for owners, farmers or assessors, for example.
- Commands from the portal (safety position, automatic, maintenance) are signed and valid for two minutes only; the box rejects forged commands.
- Maintenance mode holds the rows where they are for the chosen duration – for work in the field, for example – and returns to automatic afterwards.
Documents for your planning
Protocol TTP v1, JSON schemas, the plant geometry format and the REST API (OpenAPI) are public on the developer page. So you can check before an offer whether the connection fits your control system.
Part of the project
- No ready connection to SCADA or control systems of specific vendors; the interfaces are the REST API and the CSV export.
- Fixed farming angles for Agri-PV (e.g. for machine passage) are not built in; maintenance mode holds the rows where they are.
- Field installations start with a pilot project.
How we work: every function of the box, the tracker control unit (TCU) and the portal is covered by automated tests. Field installations start with a pilot project and acceptance criteria agreed beforehand. The live demo shows an example plant with example data.
