The field controller. It computes the sun position, moves the trackers and decides on stow positions itself.
Each tracker has its own control unit (TCU). It keeps the tracker safe even without the box: emergency stop, limit switches and a fallback when the link is lost.
With backtracking the box flattens the rows when the sun is low, so that no row shades the next one.

What is Feldmelder?

Do the controls work without internet?
Yes. The box decides on safety positions in the field and buffers its data for up to 72 hours; it sends it to the portal afterwards.
Does Feldmelder fit my trackers?
There is no ready compatibility with specific tracker or controller products. We check from your documents whether mechanics, drives and sensors fit; the first installation is a pilot project.
How does an installation start?
With an assessment of your plant and a pilot project with acceptance criteria agreed beforehand. You can see the portal in advance in the live demo – an example plant with example data.
What does Feldmelder cost?
